You know your child better than anyone. You can see they're struggling — at school, at home, in the gaps between. Maybe there's a diagnosis, maybe you're still waiting for one.
Mentor to your child. Coach for you.
Navigator through the system.
I've spent over thirty years working with children and families — as a learning mentor, a SEND specialist, and as a parent who has navigated the system myself. I know this world from both sides of the table.
Every family is different. We start with a free conversation, then agree a plan that fits your situation — not a fixed programme.
Building confidence, self-regulation and trust — at your child's pace. Strengths first, always.
Space to think, to be heard, and to build strategies that actually work for your family.
Parent and child together — building connection and new ways through the patterns that develop under pressure.
Guidance through EHCPs, Local Authority processes and school meetings — so you understand the system and feel equipped to navigate it. I listen, help you think things through, and offer support every step of the way.
A free 20-minute online meeting to talk about where you are and whether I might be able to help.
Book your free callBefore anything else, we start with a conversation — a free 20-minute online meeting where you can tell me what's going on and I can tell you honestly whether and how I can help. From there, we agree a plan that fits your family.
These sessions are for children and young people who are finding things hard — at school, at home, or in the transitions between one stage of life and the next. I work with children who have ADHD, autism, or other additional needs, as well as those waiting for an assessment and struggling in the meantime.
Sessions are built around your child's strengths — not their deficits. We might work on confidence, emotional regulation, social skills, managing transitions, or simply having a trusted adult who really listens.
Being the parent of a child with additional needs is one of the hardest things there is. You are advocating, problem-solving, communicating, and worrying — often all at once, often without enough support.
Parent coaching gives you dedicated time and space to think, to be heard, and to build strategies that actually work. You don't need a clear agenda — sometimes the most useful thing is simply having someone who understands.
Sometimes the most useful work happens when parent and child are in the room together. Family sessions focus on building connection, improving communication, and finding new ways through patterns that develop when life is consistently hard.
Particularly helpful during transitions, or when the relationship between parent and child has become strained under the weight of everything.
The system surrounding children with additional needs — EHCPs, Local Authority processes, school meetings — can feel impossibly complex and exhausting to face alone. I don't do this for you, but I help you understand it, think it through, and feel more confident moving forward.
This is a space to talk through your concerns, make sense of what you're being told, prepare for important meetings, and find your footing in a process that often feels overwhelming.
This is informal guidance and support — not legal advice, and not a case management service — from someone who has been through this process both professionally and personally.
20 minutes, no commitment, no jargon. Just a chance to talk — face to face, online.

Not because I want to fix them — but because I've learned that underneath every child who is struggling, there is almost always a strength waiting to be found.
My journey into this work began simply: I love children. I always have. Over thirty years, that love has taken me from nurseries in London to primary schools, from special needs classrooms to family support programmes — always gravitating towards smaller groups, one-to-one work, the quiet conversations where real change happens.
Early in my career, during a placement in a children's home in Germany, I worked with a young boy whose development had been set back by early childhood trauma. Rather than focusing on what he couldn't do, I looked for what he could. He loved to draw. We started there. Gradually, his confidence grew, his anxiety settled, and he began to catch up — not because anyone pushed him, but because someone had finally seen him.
That experience shaped everything that followed.
As a professional, I spent years as a Learning Mentor in London schools, supporting children with ADHD, autism, and complex emotional needs. I worked alongside SENCOs, attended multi-agency meetings, and sat with parents who didn't know where to turn.
And then, as a parent, I found myself on the other side of that table.
My son has ADHD and autism. Navigating the system — the appointments, the assessments, the letters, the meetings, the moments of being told to wait — taught me things no training course ever could. I know what it feels like to fight for your child. I know how exhausting and lonely it can be. And I know that with the right support alongside you, things can change.
Watching my son grow, with the help of consistent collaboration between family, teachers, therapists and support groups, into the young man he is today — that is my greatest proof that this work matters.
I work as a mentor with children, a coach with parents, and a navigator through the complex systems that surround families with additional needs. Whether your child has a diagnosis or you're still searching for answers — I am here to walk alongside you.
I am bilingual in English and German, trained in Makaton sign language, and have specific experience with adoption, attachment, and all major transitions from early years through to further education.
My approach is always the same: I look for the strengths first. I listen before I speak. And I stay alongside you for as long as you need.
The first step doesn't have to be a big one. If you're not sure whether Alongside is right for your family, that's completely fine — just get in touch.
The easiest place to start. We'll meet online — face to face via video — to talk about what's going on for your family and whether I might be able to help. No pressure, no commitment. If I'm not the right fit, I'll do my best to point you in the right direction.
